Whenever I travel on business, I always seem to mislay my passport or boarding pass at just the wrong time, either as I join the passport control line or as I approach check-in.
How frustrating is it when you have your arms full of luggage, a laptop bag over your shoulder and your mobile phone in hand, trying to search your pockets or bags for that vital missing item??
Here's my solution - SOLVED on my trip to China last month.
Buy a large zip-up travel wallet that is capable of holding ALL of your travel documents - passport, boarding pass, airport parking ticket and any online booking receipts you might need.
I found that when I simply put vital documents in my pockets, they would get moved about at checking point, whereas now, I simply put them back in the one wallet and put that in the same place EVERY time - the front zip pocket of my laptop bag, which NEVER leaves my side, except at security checks.
By keeping all of your important stuff together and keeping it safe, you reduce the headaches I used to have, of blind panic as you convince yourself that something is lost or mislaid.
Remember; business trips can be stressful enough, without thinking that you're going mad!
Keep it all together when you fly!
